Welcome to A-1 Grit Company. Founded in 1956, A-1 Grit Company is a leading manufacturer of specialty sand and rock products in Southern California. Our ability to provide exceptional service and products that consistently meet or exceed industry standards enables us to be recognized by Architects, Consultants, Engineers, and Inspectors as the premiere producer of specialty aggregates. Our facilities are located in Southern California in the cities of Irwindale and Riverside. Products are shipped locally, nationally, and overseas.What we do:
We specialize in the milling and packaging of sand, gravel, and high performance minerals. The milling process includes the drying of materials and classification of sizes. Packaging includes various types of bags, buckets, and semi-bulk bags. In addition, we offer companies a unique opportunity of milling, drying, and/or packaging of their products. All this is done from environmentally friendly, fully permitted, energy efficient plants.
